The Woods Are Lovely, Dark, and Deep

My father, the Magnificent Marvin, was a geologist and a landscape painter, perhaps one of the last in the line of Pennsylvania Impressionists. I grew up surrounded by art, science, and books. Although I am an artist of a different stripe, his passion for landscape became and remains a type of "comfort art." This blog is dedicated to the memory of the Magniificent Marvin.
